Problems with FCKEditor and Firefox 1.0

The latest FCKEditor (used for the blog editor) has some problems with Firefox 1.0.x (and Mozilla 1.7). We couldn't track down the problem until now and the FCKEditor website has not released a new version until now. We try to solve the problem as soon as possible, but in the meantime, we recommend to update to Firefox 1.5, which doesn't have the problem.

I cannot get FCKEditor (latest release) to work with Firefox 1.5.0.6 - I continually get the JavaScript error (Error: navigator.appVersion.match(/MSIE (...)/) has no properties
Source File: http://www.fckeditor.net/fckeditor/fckeditor.js
Line: 144) - this is from the fckeditor demo.

According to suggestions I found I have disabled all extensions and cleared the cache but still no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Alex

Do you have that problem with Flux CMS or in general with FCK Editor in general?

Thanks for the quick reply! And mine is totally late - sorry. After trying everything I solved the problem by renaming my firefox profile directory (so it would be re-established). That solved the problem - so it apparently has nothing to do with Flux CMS. Now Firefox still hangs on occasion, it seems this happens in particular when I visit finance.yahoo.com - no idea why.

Thanks,
Alex
